An early 20th century 14ct gold amethyst and seed pearl brooch. The oval-shape amethyst, within a seed pearl surround. Length 3.2cms. Weight 12.2gms.

- Amethyst deep medium slightly pinkish purple hue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.
- Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
- Seed pearls untested for natural origin.
- Seed pearls well matched, minor wear to some.
- Stamped 14k.
