A French gold seed pearl and diamond pendant, on chain.

Condition Report

An early 20th century French gold seed pearl and diamond pendant. Of openwork design, the grooved tubular panel, with bi-colour cross detail, supporting rose-cut diamond and seed pearl floral motifs, to the integral angular trace-link chain. Length of pendant 3.7cms. Length of chain 40cms. Weight 5.8gms.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Brooch fittings deficient.
  • Possible replacement chain, marks near spring ring clasp, illegible.
  • Diamonds fairly bright and well matched.
  • Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Seed pearls untested for natural colour origin.
  • Seed pearls well matched with a creamy white hue. Varying surface blemishes.
