Condition Report

BAUME & MERCIER - a gentleman's Hampton wrist watch. Stainless steel case. Reference MV045063, serial 2390321. Unsigned quartz movement. Bronze dial with dot hour markers, Arabic numeral three, nine and twelve, subsidiary seconds dial to six. Fitted to a signed black leather strap with stainless steel deployant clasp. 24mm. Box.

  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
  • Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Hands show marks and tarnishing.
  • Glass appears free of significant scratches or marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Case shows scratches, marks and dints.
  • Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking.
  • Strap appears to be in good condition with minor marks and creasing.
  • Buckle appears to be in good condition with minor marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.

    This lot comes with a box. Lot also includes a guarantee certificate with an incorrect reference number. Lot include a wallet to hold booklets but this has degraded and shows wear. Box shows marks and outer box has a split.
