Condition Report

BAUME & MERCIER - a gentleman's wrist watch. Bi-metal case. Numbered 1830 5117.80. Signed quartz calibre BM9000. Silvered dial. Fitted to an unsigned black crocodile strap with signed bi-colour pin buckle. 30mm.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is not currently functioning, whether this is due to the need for a new battery or symptomatic of something more serious is unknown.
  • Movement is worn with some surface rust and noticeable scratches and marks visible to the naked eye. Screw missing from movement.
  • Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. There is a noticeably dint on the underside of the dial, near to the 10 o'clock hour position. Towards the edge of the dial the laminatehas started to lift.
  • Hands show marks and tarnishing when viewed under a x4 loupe.
  • Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Two screws are missing from the case back.
  • Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting. When the crown is wound a high pitched noise is produced.
  • Strap shows wear with visible marks, creasing and discolouration.
  • Buckle shows noticeable marks and scratches.

    This lot does not come with box or papers.
