A mid 19th century gold garnet and split pearl ring. The oval-shape garnet, within a split pearl surround, to the circular-shape garnet trefoil sides and bifurcated shoulders. Weight 2.3gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair. Surface scratches, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Band shows evidence of repair and resize.
- Garnets medium dark reddish-purple, moderate saturation, with profuse inclusions that affect the passage of light through the stone.
- Pearl nacre worn.
- Stones in poor condition with significant abrasion, chips and fractures to the surface.
- Ring size P 1/2.
