Condition Report

A turquoise and chalcedony sentimental brooch. The late 19th century vacant panel and circular turquoise cabochon cluster, atop a mid 20th century 9ct gold white chalcedony surround. Length 4.5cms. Weight 12.7gms.

    Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear and discolouration in keeping with age and general wear. Replacement pin. Composite piece, vacant panel and turquoise cluster dates from the late 19th century, with mid 20th century chalcedony surmount. Mid 20th century surmount stamped 9, 375. Glazed panel with surface abrasion. Turquoise varies slightly in hue, some possible replacements, in fair to good condition with some abrasion.
