Condition Report

A mid Victorian 15ct gold split pearl and turquoise ring. The split pearl bars, with circular turquoise cabochon trefoil terminals, to the scrolling shoulders and grooved band. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1875. Weight 2.2gms.

  • Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.
  • The turquoise has turned a dark greenish-blue in keeping with age. Light surface scratches and abrasion. One is chipped.

  • The split pearls have moderate nacre damage.
