An 18ct gold sapphire and diamond three-stone ring.

Description

Condition Report

An 18ct gold sapphire and diamond three-stone ring. The oval-shape yellow sapphire, to the triangle-shape diamond sides and tapered band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct. Hallmarks for London, 1980. Weight 3.5gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair. Surface scratches and minor discolouration in keeping with general wear.

  • Band is cut through to the reverse.

  • Yellow sapphire is loose in the setting.

  • Yellow sapphire patchy light medium yellow, low to moderate saturation, with fair clarity and typical light coloured inclusions visible under magnification.

  • Sapphire in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Diamonds well matched.

  • Diamonds bright and lively.

  • Light and dark coloured inclusions can be seen with magnification.

  • Diamonds in good condition with minor abrasions.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate and full colour and clarity assessment.

  • Approximate ring size M.
