Condition Report

BREITLING - a gentleman's chronograph wrist watch. Stainless steel case. Reference 1781, serial 714421. Signed manual wind Valjoux calibre 188. Silvered dial with baton hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to three and nine. Fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with stainless steel pin buckle. 38mm.

  • Movement is currently functioning. Chronograph appears to be functioning correctly.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
  • Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches.
  • Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing.
  • Glass has noticeable scratches and marks.
  • Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints.
  • Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting.
  • Strap is in a poor condition with noticeable wear, marks, creasing and discolouration.
  • Buckle shows wear to the plating as well as marks and scratches.
