A late Victorian 9ct gold gem-set brooch and two later 9ct gold brooches.

Condition Report

A selection of three 9ct gold gem-set brooches. To include a late Victorian red gem and split pearl panel brooch with floral motif sides, a cultured pearl wreath brooch, together with a malachite abstract brooch. Hallmarks for 9ct gold. Lengths 5 to 3.4gms. Weight 37gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and minor discolouration in keeping with general wear.

  • Pin deficient to the Victorian brooch.

  • Red gem medium red, well saturated, with fairly good clarity and some inclusions.

  • Cultured pearls well matched.

  • Cultured pearls white, pink overtones, with good lustre.

  • Malachite well matched.

  • Banded medium and dark green bands, well saturated.

  • Gems in good to fair condition with some abrasion and scratches to some surfaces and edges.
