Condition Report

Two 15ct gold memorial rings. To include a mid Victorian garnet and split pearl ring, together with a late Victorian black enamel and seed pearl ring. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1866 and Chester, 1891. Weight 3.9gms.

  • Overall condition poor. Significant scratches, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.

  • Both bands would have originally had woven hair set within the bands, this is vacant from both bands.

  • There are noticeable chips to the enamel.

  • One band shows evidence of resize.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Ring sizes K 1/2 and K.
