Condition Report

CHOPARD - a lady's Happy Sport wrist watch. Stainless steel case with yellow metal bezel. Reference 8237, serial 27/8239-42, 410809. Signed quartz movement with quick date set. Pink mother-of-pearl dial with quarterly Roman numerals, date aperture to six, free play factory diamond set moon and stars. Fitted to a signed burgundy crocodile strap with gold plated pin buckle. 31mm.

  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
  • Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe. Free play diamonds are lively and bright.
  • Hands appear to be in a generally good condition.
  • Glass appears free of significant scratches or marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Case shows light scratches and marks. Bezel shows some light scratches and dints.
  • Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Strap shows light marks and creasing.
  • Buckle shows marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.

    This lot does not come with box or papers but comes with a Chopard pouch.
