Condition Report
CARTIER - a Chronoscaph 21 chronograph wrist watch. Stainless steel case with chapter ring bezel. Reference 2424, serial 110352PL. Signed quartz calibre 272. Black tapestry dial with luminous hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to two, six and ten, date aperture to four. Fitted to a signed black rubber strap with stainless steel deployant clasp. 37mm.

Purchasing information- Movement is currently functioning. Chronograph function appears to be working correctly.
- Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
- Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
- Hands show marks and tarnishing when viewed under a x4 loupe. Luminous inserts show some discolouration when viewed under a 4x loupe.
- Glass shows visible marks.
- Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Some of the screws to the case back are not screwing down correctly. One is missing.
- Crown screws down and is currently functioning correctly; the surface and the pushers has scratches and dints.
- Top segment of the strap is broken. Strap shows wear, splits, scratches to the metal and marks.
- Buckle shows noticeable marks and scratches.
This lot does not come with box or papers.

Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
