Condition Report

A pair of Victorian silver pepperettes, the urn form with oblique fluting, hallmarked Vale Brothers & Sermon, Birmingham 1892, height measuring 3 1/2 inches (9 cm). Together with an Edwardian silver mustard pot, hallmarked Birmingham 1908, a 1930's silver pepper, hallmarked Birmingham 1933 and a further pair of modern silver salts and pepper, hallmarked William Comyns & Sons Ltd (Richard Comyns), London 1990. Purchasing information
    Varied state, all with general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Dents to mustard, the hinge also loose and chips to glass liner. The modern pepper and salt are heavily discoloured. Hallmarks overall are clear and legible.
