Purchasing information-
Much of the wear displayed is general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. There appears to have been some extensive repair work to the foot, with additional supporting pieces of silver have been placed to the underside. On the upper side of the foot in the same area the repair work is also clearly evident. The double layering of the cover is not longer in alignment. The finial has been compressed into the body. No hallmarks visible to the cover. Hallmarks to the underside are rubbed but clearly legible, also along side further personal initials. The maker's mark is distorted, the outline is of a shaped shield.
