Condition Report

An early 20th century 18ct gold sapphire and diamond five-stone ring. The oval-shape sapphires, with old-cut diamond intervals, to the tapered shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Weight 2.8gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair. Surface scratches in keeping with general wear.
  • There is a visible solder join to the band.
  • Settings may need to be secured.
  • One of the sapphires has very patchy colour, the sapphire almost appears colourless in places, this sapphire is chipped. There is abrasion to the facet edges of the others.
  • Both diamonds are bright, individual size and setting prevents accurate colour/clarity grade assessment.
  • Inner band stamped 18ct.
  • Ring size S.
