Condition Report

A 1970s 18ct gold and hardstone novelty panel. The oval-shape onyx base, with 18ct gold rope-twist surround, supporting a mounted green hardstone mouse approaching the baited mousetrap. Maker's mark GR. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1978. Length 5.5cms. Weight 32.1gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Reverse of mount with four small tubular mounts and two, possibly later, jump ring mounts.
  • Length of mount 2cms.
  • Length of mousetrap 2.5cms.
  • Mouse is a mottled light green hardstone with flecks of light brown.

  • Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
