A mid 19th century memorial ring. Of marquise-shape outline, the white background with painted scene of a man on one knee holding the hand of a lady, to the engraved gallery and shoulders. Weight 7.9gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general wear.
- Glazed panel has some scratches in keeping in age.
- Painting in good condition with slight discolouration towards the edges.
- Ring size P 1/2.
- There is a central circular line that can be seen in the marquise shape panel which we believe is the panel behind which the deceased hair is stored and/or where the deceased partners hair was added.
