A mid 19th century gold garnet and enamel brooch. The oval-shape foil-back garnet, within a foliate enamel panel, to the openwork garnet and enamel scrolling border. Length 5.1cms. Weight 13.6gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair. Surface wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Areas of localised discolouration to the reverse.
- Areas of the openwork border are visibly crack to the reverse.
- Garnets medium red and purple.
- Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
- Fitted with a safety chain which needs repairing.
