Condition Report

A Victorian brooch and stickpin. To include a late 19th century gold split pearl memorial brooch with woven hair panel, together with a mid Victorian memorial stickpin of oval-shape with arranged hair within a rope-twist border and personal inscription. Length 2.3 to 6.6cms. Weight 8.2gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear and discolouration in keeping with age and general wear. Brooch has replacement pin. Split pearls well matched, creamy colour. Fair skins with some wear and surface blemishes. Discolouration to the settings. Light scratches to the glazed panel. Some debris within the hair panel. Stickpin has slight area of green staining to glass front. Later converted to stickpin or replacement stickpin. Personal Inscription to reverse reads 'In memory of a kind father, Dec. 1858'.
