Condition Report

Two Victorian gold and gem-set rings. To include a 9ct gold garnet and split pearl floral dress ring, with scalloped shoulders and textured band, together with a further 15ct gold cluster ring. One ring AF. One with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1900. Total weight 3.7gms.

  • Overall condition fair. Surface scratches, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • One ring is three stones deficient.

  • Bands show evidence of resize.

  • Band shows evidence of repair.
  • One band out of shape.

  • Garnets medium redish-purple, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Ring sizes O and Q 1/2.

  • One stamped 15ct.
