Condition Report

An early 20th century 14ct gold diamond, ruby and sapphire three-row articulated band ring. Each ring set with rose-cut diamonds, circular-shape rubies or circular-shape sapphires, respectively. Ring size N. Weight 1.9gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamonds well matched.
  • Diamonds bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation.

  • Ruby pinkish red, fairly well saturated, with typical inclusions.

  • sapphires medium blue, with moderate clarity and typical inclusions
  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
