A late Victorian 9ct gold opal and split pearl hinged bangle. The oval opal cabochon and split pearl scalloped cluster, with graduated bead line and oval opal cabochon sides, to the knife-edge hinged bangle. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1898, partially rubbed. Inner diameter 5.9cms. Weight 6.6gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Two dents and an area of discolouration to the inside of bangle.
- Dents and cracks to the metal work on the outside of band.
- Split pearls with nacre damage.
- Opals with white body colour and good play-of-colour.
- Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
