Condition Report

An 18ct gold diamond single-stone ring. Of crossover design, the square-shape diamond, with similarly-cut diamond line shoulders, to the plain band. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.65ct, I-J colour, SI clarity. Hallmarks for Birmingham. Weight 8.3gms.

  • Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general wear.
  • The white metal plating has worn.
  • Shoulder diamond estimated total weight 0.55ct.
  • Individual size and setting of shoulder diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
  • The principal diamond is drawing a slight yellow hue, with small inclusions, visible with magnification.
  • Ring size K1/2.
