Condition Report
A George II silver cream jug, of globular form having waisted neck and shaped rim, decorated with a pheasant, hare and flower-heads framing a vacant cartouche, with engraved initials beneath, hallmarked Samuel Meriton, London 1750, height measures 3 6/8 inches (9.5 cm). Together with a late George III open silver salt having shell mouldings to the crescent rim and raised upon four ball feet, hallmarked London 1809, width measures 4 2/8 inches (11 cm). Gross weight 4.98 ozt (154.9 grams). (2).

Purchasing information-
Cream jug displaying general wear, surface marks and scratches and areas of tarnishing and minor rubbing throughout, otherwise in fair condition commensurate with age and use. A couple of minor splits to rim and a slight crease through lip. Hallmarks with heavy rubbing and partly distorted but still legible. Salt is in fair condition displaying some rubbing and wear to raised decoration, and hallmarks rubbed but still legible.
