Condition Report

A late Victorian twin-handled silver sauce tureen and cover, of oval form having gadrooned rim and floral embossing to the removable cover and bulging body, the whole raised upon four lion paw feet. Hallmarked George Nathan & Ridley Hayes, Chester 1896. Length inclusive of handles measures 6 inches (16 cm), weight 11.51 ozt (358.1 grams).

Purchasing information
    Overall in good to fair condition although lacking spoon. Slight distortion to base and so one foot is compressed into body. Cover with slight distortion and so does not sit firmly in rim. Displaying minor rubbing to surface. Hallmarks clear and legible with matching part hallmarks to cover.
