Condition Report

An early 20th century 18ct gold ruby and diamond three-stone ring. The old-cut diamond and cushion-shape ruby sides, inset to the tapered band. Estimated diamond weight 0.35ct, H-I colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Ring size K. Weight 5.7gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Band shows minor evidence of repair/ resize.
  • Diamond has small, scattered inclusions and a small chip to the upper facets.
  • Rubies are a well matched dark, medium slightly purplish red hue, well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Rubies in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Stamped 18.
