An early 20th century 15ct gold demantoid garnet, amethyst and split pearl pendant. The cushion-shape demantoid garnet and circular-shape amethyst, suspended from a similarly-set cross and split pearl scrolling foliate surround, to the split pearl detachable surmount and near period 10ct gold fancy-link chain. May be worn as a brooch. Pendant engraved 'EM'. Length of pendant 4.6cms. Length of chain 45cms. Total weight 8.7gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches and general slight discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.
- Chain with small dents and some discolouration to some of the oval-shape spacers.
- Split pearls well matched.
- Amethyst are a well matched medium, moderately pinkish purple hue.
- Demantoid garnets are a fairly well matched yellowish green hue, slight variation in tone and saturation, some horsetail inclusions.
- Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Demaontoid garnets with minor nicks to the girdles.
- Pendant engraved 15ct. Chain stamped 10k. Pendant scratch engraved EM to reverse.
