Condition Report

A late 19th century gold memorial brooch. Designed as a marquise-shape onyx set to the central star-shape with split pearls, to the beaded and rope-twist surround and glazed panel to the reverse. Length 4.5cms. Weight 6.9gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in good condition, with surface scratches to the enamel in keeping with age and wear. The brooch would benefit greatly from a clean. The reverse panel is removable, but doesn't stay in place in the recess, this may benefit from repair.
