Condition Report

Two mid to late Victorian gold gem-set memorial rings. To include a 9ct gold turquoise and brown gem forget-me-not dress ring and a woven hair panel and black-gem cluster ring. Two turquoise deficient. Weight 5.2gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Two turquoise deficient. Some other possible replacements.
  • Areas of repair to inside of turquoise ring where a strengthening panel has been added to the inside of the band with visible soft solder.
  • The turquoise vary in colour, some possible replacements.
  • The engraved detail to the band is significantly worn.
  • Abrasion and chips visible to the facet edges of the black gems, possible join marks to the shoulders of the ring.
  • Ring sizes H and o.
