Condition Report

A late 19th century gold amethyst and split pearl pendant. The fancy-shape amethyst and split pearl cluster, to the circular-shape amethyst sides and split pearl scrolls, suspending three pear-shape amethyst drops. One gemstone deficient. Length 5.7cms. Weight 6gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • A localised area of deep scratches to the reverse.

  • Amethysts medium purple, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and some angular colour zoning.

  • One stone deficient.

  • Split pearls with a cream body colour and chalky lustre, many with nacre damage.

  • Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
