Condition Report

MOERIS - a gentleman's military issue wrist watch. Base metal case, stamped with British broad arrow. Numbered A.T.P 59768 2653181. Signed manual wind movement. Silvered dial. Fitted to a black fabric strap with base metal pin buckle. 32mm. Together with a lady's bracelet watch by Bulova. Both recommended for spare and repair purposes only.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement is worn with some surface rust and noticeable scratches and marks visible to the naked eye.
  • Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. There is evidence of some very poorly applied luminous paint. This has now faded and worn away in places. The subsidiary seconds dial is heavily scratched and show some cracks too. The whole dial appears dirty and in a very tarnished condition.
  • Hands show marks and tarnishing with discolouration to the luminous paint.
  • Glass has noticeable scratches and marks.
  • Case shows significant scratching, obvious marking, some dents may be present and any plating has lifted.
  • Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting.
  • Strap is in a poor condition with noticeable wear, marks, creasing and discolouration.
  • Buckle shows very heavy wear to the plating as well as marks and scratches.

    This lot does not come with box or papers.

    The other watch in this lot does not appear to be functioning. Both watches are recommended for spare and repair purposes only.
