GOLDSMITH & SILVERSMITH CO. LTD - a gentleman's wrist watch. 9ct yellow gold case with engraved case back, hallmarked London 1949. Unsigned manual wind movement. Silvered dial. Fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with gold plated pin buckle. 29mm. Together with a lady's Omega Seamaster bracelet watch. All recommended for spare or repair purposes only.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Screw heads show signs of previous intervention.
  • Dial shows marks and pitting.
  • Hands show marks and tarnishing.
  • Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Case back shows a presentation engraving.
  • Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking. Crown may be a later replacement as itÆs a different colour than the case.
  • Strap appears to be in good condition with minor marks and creasing.
  • Buckle shows light marks and scratches.

  • Movement is not currently functioning, whether this is due to the need for a new battery or symptomatic of something more serious is unknown.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
  • Dial shows noticeable discolouration and bubbling to the surface. Luminous markers show discolouration.
  • Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing.
  • Glass has marks.
  • Case shows scratches, marks and dints.
  • Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has scratches, marks and dinting.
  • Bracelet has wear to the gold plating, marks and scratches. Bracelet has noticeable stretching to the links.
  • Buckle shows noticeable marks and scratches.

    This lot does not come with box or papers.
