Condition Report

A late 19th century 15ct gold diamond and seed pearl hinged bangle. The front designed as three old-cut diamonds, with seed pearl spacers and scrolling sides. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. Inner diameter 5.7cms. Weight 8.8gms. With associated case.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Split pearls well matched.
  • Hinge moves slightly from side to side.
  • All three diamonds have some chips to the surface and have nibbled girdle edges.
  • Diamond fairly well matched.
  • Diamonds fairly bright.

  • Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Assocaited case is frayed. The material surface is worn and discoloured.
