Two late Victorian gold gem-set dress rings. To include an 18ct gold ruby and diamond ring and a 15ct gold split pearl and sapphire ring. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1896 and Chester, 1901. Total weight 4.8gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- rubies are medium pinkish red, fairly well saturated, with moderate clarity and typical inclusions.
- Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
- Sapphires are a fairly light blue, fairly well saturated, with moderate clarity and typical inclusions.
- Pearls are a creamy yellow, with damage to nacre, not very good lustre.
- one pearl is has a grey body colour, which is no well mactched, possibly a replacment stone.
