An early 20th century 15ct gold split pearl and gem-set brooch. Of openwork design, the oval-shape green gem and split pearl floral motif, within a split pearl whiplash line surround. Length 3cms. Weight 4gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Later surmount loop, discolouration.
  • Pin with bends/dents.
  • Split pearls fairly well matched, some discolouration.
  • Green gems are different cuts, possible replacement.
  • Gems are a deep medium slightly yellowish green hue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.

  • Stamped 15ct, 26326.
