A mid 19th century split pearl and ruby ring. The split pearl quatrefoil, with oval-shape ruby highlights and split pearl sides, to the tapered band. Ring size N 1/2. Weight 2.5gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Possible work to mounts.
- Vacant disc to reverse of head, possible glazed panel deficient.
- General small dents to the band, small acid stain top one shoulder.
- Rubies are a well matched slightly pinkish red hue, closed settings, possibly foil back..
- Stones in good to fair condition with minor abrasions, one with a small chip and one with surface reaching inclusions.
