A mid-Victorian Scottish silver pedestal bowl.

Condition Report

A mid-Victorian Scottish silver pedestal bowl, the beaded rim above garland swags with two pendant cartouches, one having Christie family crest of holy bush and motto 'Sic Viresco', the whole raised upon pedestal foot having further beaded rim to edge. Hallmarked J H, Edinburgh 1861. Height measures 5.5 inches (14 cm), weight 8.94 ozt (278 grams).

Purchasing information
    Appears in overall fair condition commensurate with age, displaying heavy tarnishing throughout and with slight rubbing to surface causing loss of detail to decoration. Few small dints to bowl and another to foot. Hallmarks with light rubbing but still legible.
