Condition Report

A George III silver wine funnel of typical form, with reeded rim, shell clip and simple drilled holes to sieve, the removable funnel with incised line detail and applied long bosses. Hallmarked Rebecca Emes & Edward Barnard I, London 1809. Height measures 5 inches (12.7 cm), weight 2.68 ozt (83.3 grams).

Purchasing information
    The funnel displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Would benefit from a clean and polish. Minor dints and bumps. Likely small solder repairs. The main hallmarks are a little rubbed but still clearly legible, maker's mark is partly worn. The removable funnel section is struck with corresponding maker's mark, Duty mark and lion passant.
