Condition Report
A late Victorian lidded jug, the bulbous body embossed with floral scrolls, initialled cartouche, ebonised finial and scroll handle, the whole raised on floral mounted hoof feet, hallmarked William Aitken, Chester 1899, height measuring 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm). Together with a 1920's silver vesta case of oblong form with initial engraving, hallmarked Samuel M Levi, Birmingham 1921, height measuring 2 inches (5.5 cm). Gross weight 12.4 ozt (386 grams). (2).

Purchasing information-
The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Would benefit from a clean and polish, the jug in particular. Handle with a couple of deep scratches and a dent to the front of the body. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
