Condition Report
An early 20th century platinum, diamond and seed pearl brooch. Of openwork design, the old-cut diamond collet, within a rose-cut diamond stylised floral lattice disc, to the seed pearl surround. Principal diamond estimated 0.40ct, I-J colour, VS clarity. Diameter 3.7cms. Total weight 8.2gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- The seed pearl surround is later, possible conversion.
- Fittings possibly later.
- Possible replacement gems.
- Soft solder and discolouration visible to the reverse.
- Diamonds well matched.
- Individual size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Old-cut diamond with slight yellow tint, no obvious inclusions under 10x.
- Seed pearls untested for natural origin.
- The surround supporting the seed pearls is slightly dented.
- Seed pearls with some discoloured glue/cement visible.
- The seed pearls are afairly well matched slightly yellowish cream hue.
