Condition Report

Three late 19th to early 20th century brooches. The first of oval outline, the central oval shape paste to the wire and bead work surround and glazed panel to the reverse, together with a 9ct gold bar brooch set with ruby and split pearls. Hallmark for Birmingham, 1884 and for 9ct gold, part illegible. Lengths 3 to 4cms. Weight 17.9cms.

    This lot is in fair condition, with scratches, dints and tarnish to the metal surface in keeping with age and wear. The bar brooch is believed to have been replated. Brooch with applied detail is scratched and is lightly discoloured, there are small dints to the reverse.
