Condition Report
A mid 19th century gold, enamel and split pearl memorial brooch. The hand painted ivory panel, depicting a lady in period dress attending a headstone, within a blue enamel and star motif surround, to the split pearl border. Length 3.8cms. Weight 10.1gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- The ivory panel is cracked.
- Some yellow metal star and circular inlay to the blue enamel surround deficient.
- Split pearls fairly well matched.
- Split pearls with a creamy-white to slightly greyish tone, some rose overtones and fair to fairly good lustre.
- Split pearls in good to fairly good in good condition with minor abrasions to most and slightly more significant abrasions to some.
