A mid 20th century 18ct gold spinel and diamond ring. Of openwork design, the cushion-shape purple spinel, within a single-cut diamond scalloped surround. Estimated dimensions of spinel 9.5 by 6.7, by 5.2mms. Estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct. Ring size M 1/2. Weight 3.7gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Diamonds well matched.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Spinel is a deep medium pinkish purple, fairly well saturated, with moderate window effect, light brown, surface reaching feather under the table facet.
- Spinel in poor to fair condition with significant mostly facet-edge abrasions.
- Length of ring head 1.7cms.
