Condition Report

An early 20th century gold diamond, sapphire, amethyst and garnet brooch. The circular-shape pink sapphire, amethyst and garnet trefoil, within a graduated split pearl foliate surround. Length 2.5cms. Weight 4.1gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Diamond bright.

  • Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Garnet, sapphire and amethyst medium hue, well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Split pearls with white body colour and fairly good lustre.

  • Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
