Condition Report
An Edwardian gold, pearl and gem-set brooch. The floral motif, with central pearl and demantoid garnet, diamond and ruby-set scrolling edge, within a seed pearl halo. Length 2.6cms. Weight 4.7gms. Pearl untested.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Slight surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear.
- Possible replacement seed pearls, some glue-like substance visible.
- Pearl and seed pearls untested for natural origin.
- One seed pearl with higher lustre and more spherical appearance, remaining pearl and seed pearls with uneven surface, lower lustre.
- Diameter of pearl 5mms.
- Diamonds well matched.
- Estimated total diamond weight less than 0.05ct.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Demantoid garnets are a well matched bright slightly yellowish green hue.
- Rubies are a pinky red hue.
- Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
