A late 19th century gold snake ring. Designed as a coiled snake with engraved head, crest, and green-gem eyes. Ring size O 1/2. Weight 10gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Band slightly out of shape.
  • Slight damage, nicks and scratches to inside of band.

  • Area of localised scratch marks and discolouration to inside of band.

  • Snakes tongue has broken

  • Garnet medium brownish-red, moderate saturation, with typical inclusions.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Abrasion to facets of the green eye gems.
