Condition Report

BREITLING - a gentleman's Windrider Sextant chronograph wrist watch. Stainless steel case with bi-metal calibrated bezel. Reference B55046, serial 1766. Signed quartz calibre B55 with quick date set. Blue dial with baton hour markers, Arabic numeral twelve, subsidiary gilt recorder dials to three, six and nine, date aperture between four and five. Fitted to an unsigned blue shark strap with stainless steel pin buckle. 35mm.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning. The chronograph counts one minute, but the hour counter has not been tested due to time constraints.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe. The luminous paint at the end of some of the batons shows discolouration.
  • Hands appear to be in a generally good condition.
  • Glass has noticeable scratches and marks.
  • Case shows light scratches and marks. Bezel appears to rotate correctly.
  • Crown screws down and is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking.
  • Strap shows marks and creasing. Strap is torn where it holds the 6 o'clock spring bar. This strap will need replacing soon.
  • Buckle shows noticeable marks and scratches.

    This lot does not come with box or papers.
