A pair of late 19th century gold, shell cameo earrings. Each designed as a graduated fringe, suspended from a shell cameo carved to depict Flora, with cannetille surround and floral surmount. AF. Length 4.8cms. Weight 5.1gms.

  • Overall condition poor to fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • One surmount and fitting replacement, discoloured.
  • One drop of a fringe and surmount loop supporting drop, deficient.
  • Shells show fine cracks. Glue visible to mount, mounts with significant wear.
  • Hook fittings for pierced ears.
