An early Victorian enamel and diamond mourning ring. The shield-shape central panel with overlaid diamond set flower, the band reading to the black enamel 'In memory of', with a personal inscription to the reverse. Hallmark for London, date illegible. Ring size J. Weight 4.4gms.

Purchasing information-
The condition of this lot is fair, with chips to the enamel edges in keeping with age and wear. The enamel to the band, especially to the back, is worn and chipped. The inscription to the reverse reads 'Robt Colmer, Obt 32nd July, 1842, At 56'.
